Building a car from scratch
Im sure any automotive enthusiast can agree the thought of building your own car from scratch is a dream!
We have been lucky enough to have the time and space to take on this awesome project.
We will be using a single donor vehicle a Mazda Mx-5 along side the Mk Sportscars Indy RX-5

The Donor Vehicle
By using a donor vehicle it helps keep the cost down by re using donor parts such as the engine, gearbox, differential & more.
We have opted for the Mazda Mx-5 Mk2 1998-2000 model, This boasts a reliable 1.8L petrol engine, 6 speed manual box & as we got a 'S' edition it also came with a Limited slip differential.
The sports car kit
After visiting Westfield, Great British Sports Cars & Mk Sportscars we opted for the Mk Sportscars Indy Rx-5 Kit as it best suited our needs and budget.
Combining the use of a single donor vehicle it helps keep the costs low as you reuse a large number of parts from the single donor.
